Opening Address
The event commenced with an inspiring opening address by Jamiu Ijaodola, CEO of Eventhive. Jamiu highlighted the fest’s journey over the past five years and its unwavering commitment to uniting diverse players in the Nigerian real estate market.
Keynote Address
Paul Onwunibi, CEO of Landmark, delivered a dynamic keynote on “Building the Model for the Future of Cities in Nigeria.” He stressed the need for a quantum leap in the Nigerian real estate sector, identifying key challenges such as infrastructure, rule of law, taxation, finance, human resources, and regulatory issues. However, he also outlined significant opportunities, including government and private partnerships, the growth of SMEs, mixed-use destinations, and the infusion of technology.
Paul encouraged attendees to “find out where people are going and get there first,” emphasizing the transformative power of technology in real estate. He concluded with a powerful message: “Develop the needs of today against the trends of tomorrow.”

The first session featured panelists Babajide Odusolu, Kayode Odebiyi, Odunayo Ojo, Bolanle Ibitola, Chukwuka Okoye, Oleka Udenze, and Ebere Lisa. They addressed the impact of the macroeconomic situation on the housing market, untapped opportunities, compliance challenges, and discussed integrating sustainable practices into real estate development.
Session 2: Investment Trends and Nigeria’s Real Estate Market
In the second session, panelists Ayotunde Adesulu, Akinbola Akintola, Suzanne Oluwole, Bright Okereke, Idongesit Abia, Olubisi Shaola, and Lerato Lekena-Okoro explored the impact of recent regulations on investor confidence and the evolving landscape of developer-government partnerships. A fireside chat featured Mrs. Tari Taylaur, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Environment, and Esv. Mrs. Fosudo Adebisi Olukemi, Director of Estate at the Lagos State Ministry of Housing. Facilitated by Gbenga Adigun, CEO of Rebar Perfecta, the session was highly engaging, with government representatives sharing regulatory efforts and addressing concerns raised by real estate players.

The third session focused on “Driving Growth in Nigeria’s Hospitality Market.” Karl Hala and Dipo Adebo discussed obstacles and solutions for the Nigerian hospitality sector, with Ebere Lisa moderating the session.
